Frequently asked questions
How long is EMS training and how it goes?
It lasts up to max of 30 minutes. First, you will put on 95% cotton undergarment and then the suit. Typically the training itself consists of warm-up, functional training type to get all muscles to work & relaxing muscle massage at the end of the training.
How is EMS training saving my time?
Due to the training intensity, EMS provides max 20 min of active training per 1 time, it is equivalent to around 4-6 hours of normal trainings in the gym. Moreover, EMS activates up to 350 muscles in every session while normal training does around 60-80. We can also change the workout intensity for each muscle group according to your fitness level and goals.
Do my eating habits change results I get from MyEMS sessions?

This technology reaches all the layers of muscle – the ones that are close to skin and even those that are very close to bone.
Can there be any side effects of EMS trainings?
There aren’t known side effects to the body caused by EMS. The body itself needs and produces electrical impulses from our central nervous system for each movement. The same principle EMS technology applies/uses for more effective and intense process.
Is EMS safe?
There is nothing more important your safety for us. Our manufacturer follows strict guidelines backed by the International Safety Standard for an Electrical Device, IEC60335-1. Our machines work with very low impulse frequency and are unable to give you an electric shock of any kind. The only sensation you will feel are your muscles working better than ever before. These electrical impulses activate your muscles not your organs or heart. Any load on the heart is a product of the workout not EMS and is the equivalent of what you would experience during regular, non-EMS training. In addition, there are no known side effects of EMS training.
Under what health conditions EMS training is not recommended to take?
- Heart pacemaker or any other implemented electric device
- Pregnancy
- Severe circulatory disorder & arterial circulatory disorder
- Abdominal wall or inguinal hernia
- Tuberculosis
- Tumour diseases
- Arteriosclerosis in advanced stages
- Diabetes mellitus

Are MyEMS suites hygienic?
Yes, they are! Suits are specially manufactured for that purpose and anti-bacterial undergarment have to be worn under suits during the training. Electrodes have no direct contact with your skin. The suits are professionally maintained following the instructions and cleaned after each session and then stored in a dry, well ventilated room.
Can EMS training be combined with traditional training methods?
For reaching maximum results (according to your goal) we recommend to compliment both trainings methods.
Why it’s recommended to not exceed 3 EMS sessions per week?
As mentioned, it is triple intensive as traditional training, so there is a need for muscles rest time so they can recover – at least 24 to 48 h.
